GRANIT has a new version of the standard concave disc: the GRANIT Inphinium concave disc.
The disc is made from a special steel that ensures an increased continuous hardness of 55 (tolerance -2) HRc, together with a high level of toughness. Thanks to their increased hardness, the GRANIT Inphinium concave discs have a 25% longer service life than the standard concave discs (depending on soil type and moisture levels).
The standard boron steel concave discs have a continuous hardness of 50 (tolerance -2) HRc. If the boron steel discs had the same hardness value as the Inphinium steel version (55 HRc), the toughness of the boron steel would be reduced and the material would become brittle. Brittle wearing parts / steels may break under heavy loading, for example upon contact with stones. - Weight: 12.82 kg
